The musculature of the body and the feathering of the wings are rendered with considerable artistry characteristic of the Corinthian tradition. The field is plain and unlettered, with the winged horse occupying the full flan.

背面描述	Helmeted head of Athena in right-facing profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with the bowl set high and the cheekpieces flanking the face. Curling locks of hair emerge beneath the helmet rim. A standing cockerel, rendered in fine detail with tail plumage and claw visible, is placed in the left field behind the goddess's head, serving as the civic symbol of Alyzia. The composition is characteristic of the western Greek coinage tradition derived from Corinthian prototypes.
