The letters Δ and I flank the neck on either side as control marks. Behind the goddess, a herm surmounted by a kerykeion (caduceus) and cornucopia faces toward the viewer, serving as an additional magistrate's or workshop symbol. The die work reflects the accomplished engraving tradition of Corinthian mint workers of this period. |
