| Reverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head to reveal her face, with flowing locks of hair cascading beneath the helmet rim. The goddess is rendered in fine Classical style with strong facial features and carefully incised drapery at the neck. To the right of the bust, a small standing figure of Pegasos or an aplustre control symbol appears in the field. The ethnic letter delta (Δ) and iota (I) are inscribed in the right field, serving as die-control marks within the Corinthian monetary series. |
