Obverse description A winged male deity, likely to be identified with a local Cilician divinity or the god Mopsos, strides to the right in a dynamic posture rendered in the archaic style. The figure is depicted frontally with outspread wings prominently displayed behind the body, the feathers articulated with fine incised detail. Both arms are raised and extended forward, grasping a solar disk or wheel between the hands. The lower body is shown in profile, with bent knees suggesting animated forward movement, and the figure wears a short garment. The design is boldly rendered in high relief against a broad, granular field.
