| Obverse description | Two nude wrestlers grappling in the field, facing one another in a dynamic confrontation rendered in high relief with bold, vigorous modeling typical of Pisidian civic coinage. The figures are shown full-length, each straining against the other with interlocked arms, their musculature emphasised by the hammered technique. Between the wrestlers, in the lower central field, appears the Greek letter H; to the left stands the letter B and to the right the letter Δ, together forming the ethnic control marks B-H-Δ. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
