Delaware's inclusion in the 50 State Quarters Program — launched by the U.S. Mint in 1999 — preceded this note by several years, but the two are unrelated. This entry appears to describe a novelty or souvenir item rather than a federally issued instrument; the United States has not issued paper currency denominated by or attributed to individual states since the National Bank Note era ended in 1935.

No federally authorized U.S. banknote carries state attribution as issuer. Catalog data should be reviewed for misclassification.
