Reverse description The reverse features a circular central medallion in high relief bearing the Hebrew inscription "מצדה לא תיפול שנית" (Masada Shall Not Fall Again), its bold letters designed to resemble fortress towers. The English legend "MASADA SHALL NOT FALL AGAIN" surrounds the central medallion. Around the rim, a continuous frieze of stylized figures in low relief depicts armed soldiers alternating with workers engaged in the excavation and restoration of Masada.
