边缘	The State emblem and the words: "State of Israel" in Hebrew and English. The silver medals of 35, 45 and 59mm bear the word "Silver 935" in Hebrew and "Sterling" in English. Some of the silver 27mm diameter were minted "Silver 935" in error. The gold medals 27mm have "G916.6" while the 22mm have "G985". 正面描述	The obverse depicts a bold relief of the Masada rock fortress in the central field, with Roman siege works visible at its base. Above the mountain, a three-line Hebrew inscription from Elazar Ben Yair's speech is rendered in large, stylized letters in high relief. The English translation "WE SHALL REMAIN FREE MEN" curves along the lower rim.
