| Reverse description | The reverse presents a dense bilingual and trilingual text inscription in Hebrew, English, and German arranged in horizontal lines across the field, recording the date of Kristallnacht (9 November 1938) and the revised figures of 1,574 synagogues destroyed and 1,300 Jewish victims. A stylized double-arch motif appears at the top of the field, and a large, boldly rendered Hebrew legend reading 'Shema Yisrael' dominates the lower portion.
