Obverse description Square hammered flan bearing a three-line Arabic Kufic-style legend filling the field. The Shahada inscription reads 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah' (There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God), arranged in horizontal lines across the face. The legend is rendered in raised relief against a flat field, with no decorative border visible on this side. The irregular flan edges are characteristic of the hand-struck Nasrid coinage of Granada.

Reverse description Square hammered flan displaying a three-line Arabic legend in raised relief, incorporating the Nasrid dynastic motto and mint name. The inscription reads 'Wa-la ghalib illa Allah' (And there is no conqueror but God), the celebrated device of the Nasrid rulers of Granada, followed by the mint name 'Gharnata' (Granada). The field is framed at the lower edge by a row of small pellets forming a decorative border, a hallmark feature of Nasrid fractional silver coinage. The flan is slightly irregular in outline, consistent with the hand-hammered production technique of the mint.
