Obverse description At centre, a detailed left-facing profile view of Canadian Pacific Railway steam locomotive No. 2860 (Royal Hudson class) occupies the middle field, rendered in fine relief. Above the locomotive, within an ornate scrollwork cartouche, appears the cursive logotype legend 'The Royal Hudson No. 2860'. Below the locomotive, a six-line historical inscription in the field recounts the Royal designation awarded to CPR Hudson locomotives following the 1939 Royal Tour. The bold curved legend 'SQUAMISH DOLLAR' arcs along the lower rim, separated from the field by a beaded inner border.
