The monogram is encircled by a wreath composed of interlocking scrolled battle honour ribbons, each inscribed with a regimental battle honour including DOMINICA, CORUNNA, SALAMANCA, PYRENEES, WATERLOO, PENINSULA, MOOLTAN, GOOJARAT, LUCKNOW, SEVASTOPOL, NILE 1884-85, PAARDEBERG, S. AFRICA 1899-1902, MONS, MARNE 1914, ARRAS 1917, SOMME 1916-18, and others, tied with a bow at the base. |
