| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of King Christian VII facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style with curled, queue-dressed hair tied with a ribbon at the nape. The mintmaster's initial 'A' appears in the field below the neck truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, separated from the milled border by a plain inner field. The portrait exhibits fine engraving detail in the hair and drapery of the shoulder. |

| Reverse description | A crowned oval heraldic shield bearing the quartered arms of Denmark, Norway, and the Duchy of Schleswig-Holstein occupies the central field, dividing the fractional denomination '1/3' and 'SP.' at either side. The date 1787 is divided by the mintmaster's initials 'M·F·' and appears in the lower portion of the field. A circular legend around the rim expresses the value in Schilling Courant for the duchies of Schleswig and Holstein. |
