Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing bust of King Christian VII with powdered queue wig, rendered in finely detailed low relief against a smooth, toned field. The portrait displays the king's characteristic angular features and lightly draped truncation. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy, separated from the beaded border by a wide flat rim. The overall style reflects the neoclassical engraving tradition prevalent in late 18th- and early 19th-century Danish coinage.
