Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing bust of King Christian VII with powdered, queue-dressed hair tied at the nape, rendered in high relief in a neoclassical style. The effigy occupies the central field with fine engraving detail on the hair and neck truncation. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery from lower left to lower right, separated from the toothed border by a smooth inner field.
