Additional information

Enderby Land is an unclaimed Antarctic territory, and no sovereign nation has ever administered it — making this piece a classic "fantasy" issue with no governmental authority behind it whatsoever. These were produced speculatively in the late 1980s and early 1990s by private minting operations exploiting the fashion for Antarctic and polar territorial coins among thematic collectors. X# prefixes in the Standard Catalog denote exactly this: coins outside any recognized monetary system.
