Reverse description The denomination UN SOU is displayed in two bold lines at the center of the field, enclosed within a wreath of 39 laurel leaves tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The legend TOKEN appears along the upper periphery and MONTREAL along the lower periphery, both in raised Latin letters. The wreath is composed of slender leafy branches with berry clusters, rendered in a neoclassical style consistent with Birmingham token manufacture of the 1830s.
