| Obverse description | A horizontally divided shield bearing the combined arms of the monetary union: the left half displaying the black bull's head of Uri on a gold field, and the right half showing the key of Unterwalden. A crowned double-headed imperial eagle spreads its wings above the escutcheon, while a radiant sun device is positioned at the very top of the design. The surrounding legend in Latin is separated by pellets and a decorative cross pattée stop, running continuously around the inner beaded border. |

| Reverse description | A bold cross fleury occupies the central field, its four arms terminating in stylized fleurs-de-lis rendered in fine relief characteristic of early sixteenth-century hammered goldsmithing. At the crossing of the arms, a small quadrifoil rosette serves as the central ornament, its lobes clearly articulated. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, beyond which the devotional Latin legend runs continuously around the coin's periphery, punctuated by pellets and a decorative cross pattée stop. |
