Reverse description Two enthroned emperors seated facing, their left legs bare in the classical tradition, jointly holding an orb symbolising universal dominion; the emperor to the right grasps a mappa in his left hand. A winged Victory stands erect behind them with wings fully outspread, crowning or supporting the imperial pair. A palm branch appears in the lower field, and the mintmark is inscribed in the exergue. The legend VICTOR-IA AVGG runs across the reverse field, proclaiming the victory of the two August emperors.
