| Obverse description | Frontal bust of Prince Sico, facing, wearing an elaborate crown surmounted by a cross and adorned with pendilia, with a beaded necklace and imperial loros draped over the shoulders in the Byzantine manner. A patriarchal cross is visible to the lower left of the bust, and a globus or orb to the lower right. The portrait is rendered in a provincial Byzantine style with stylized facial features. The Latin legend SICO PRINCES runs around the periphery of the field. |

| Reverse description | Full-length frontal figure of the Archangel Michael standing orans, wearing imperial robes and nimbus, flanked by two smaller standing figures each holding a long crozier or sceptre. The archangel's wings are spread to either side and he holds regalia in both hands. The composition closely follows Byzantine prototypes for angelic imagery. The Latin legend MICHAEL ARCHANGELVS CONO encircles the design, with CONOB or a derivative appearing in the lower exergual area, referencing Constantinople. |
