Descripción del anverso	Facing bust of Prince Sicard rendered in the highly stylized Beneventan manner, depicting a bearded and mustachioed effigy wearing a crown with pendilia and a jeweled collar. The face is executed with bold, almost schematic features — large almond-shaped eyes with prominent brows, a broad nose, and a formalized beard rendered in beaded pellets. The bust is shown from the shoulders upward, with the drapery indicated by incised lines at the lower field. The circular legend SIC - ARDV flanks the portrait, divided on either side of the field.

Descripción del reverso	A cross potent on steps occupies the central field, with the letter S to the left and I to the right of the cross shaft, referencing the prince's monogram. The cross is depicted in the Byzantine tradition, set upon a three-stepped base, with small globules at the terminals. The surrounding circular legend, reading VICTORA PRINCI S - I CONOB, is arranged around the periphery of the coin, with CONOB — the standard Byzantine mint mark indicating refined gold of Constantinople standard — placed in the lower portion of the legend. The overall design closely imitates contemporary Byzantine solidus types, affirming Benevento's cultural and monetary alignment with the Eastern Empire.
