The emperor wears elaborate military dress with visible bead-decorated paludamentum at the shoulder. The circumferential legend IM CAE MAGNENTIVS AVG runs in Latin capitals around the field, partially visible along the border. The portrait is executed in high relief in a robust, naturalistic late-Roman style characteristic of the Arelatum mint. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Three figures in the field: a centrally placed trophy of arms — a cuirassed figure atop a pole — flanked on either side by two female personifications, each wearing a diadem and drapery, who reach inward to grasp the trophy. The left figure holds a spear and extends her right hand toward the trophy; the right figure similarly extends her left hand while carrying a palm frond. The scene alludes to Victoria and Libertas jointly presenting the spoils of Rome's liberation. The circumferential legend VICTORIA AVG LIB ROMANOR runs around the upper and lateral field in Latin capitals, while the mintmark PAR appears in the exergue, confirming production at Arelatum's first officina. |
