| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two enthroned personifications face one another at the centre of the field: Roma, on the left, is seated facing and holds a spear in her left hand, while Constantinopolis, on the right, is seated to left upon a throne, holding a sceptre in her left hand and resting her right foot upon a ship's prow, symbolising naval dominion. Together the two figures jointly support a large votive shield inscribed with the vow legend VOT/V/MVL/X between them. The mint mark CONSP appears in the exergue, below a horizontal line dividing the field. |
