Reverse description Two enthroned personifications depicted in a formal, symmetrical composition: Roma seated to the left on a decorated throne, draped and helmeted, holding a spear in her left hand; and Constantinopolis seated to the right, also draped, holding a sceptre in her left hand while her right foot rests upon the prow of a ship, symbolising naval dominance. Together they jointly support a large circular shield inscribed with votive legend VOT V MVL X between them. The mint mark and officina letter appear in the exergue below the ground line.
