In her right hand she holds a long sceptre, while her left hand supports a Victory standing on a globe; her right foot rests upon the prow of a ship, symbolizing naval dominion. A star appears in the left field, and the mintmark is placed in the exergue. The reverse legend CONCORDI-A AVGGG surrounds the figure, with the officina letter H and the mint control mark CONOB in the exergue, the latter denoting gold of the Constantinople mint refined to the standard of the solidus. |
