| Opis awersu | Three facing imperial effigies in hierarchical arrangement: Heraclius, the senior emperor, occupies the centre, depicted with a long moustache and long beard, crowned and wearing the chlamys, holding a cross on globe; to his left stands Heraclonas, of nearly equal height, similarly crowned and robed; to his right stands Heraclius Constantine, of equal height, crowned but unbearded, likewise attired in chlamys and holding a cross on globe. The composition presents all three co-rulers in the characteristic Byzantine frontal portrait style, emphasising collegiate imperial authority. |

| Opis rewersu | A cross potent set upon three steps occupies the centre of the field, serving as the principal reverse type. The exergual inscription CONOB (or CONOBΛ on later variants) denotes the Constantinople mint and the standard gold fineness. A PTh monogram appears in the left field, while the right field carries a variable officina or date mark: on BCV#762 an I, on BCV#764 and BCV#766 an A, on BCV#767 and BCV#768 an I over B, on BCV#770 an epsilon, and on BCV#771 a K. The circular legend VICTORIA AVGU runs along the upper border. |
