To her left stands a draped Libertas facing left, holding a transverse sceptre, her right hand also raised to support the trophy shaft. The composition presents the two allegorical figures flanking the central trophy in a dynamic, confrontational arrangement. The Latin legend VICTORIA AVG LIB ROMANOR runs around the outer field, and the mint mark appears in the exergue. |
