Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem adorned with rosettes. The emperor is depicted in military attire with finely rendered paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, the cuirass decorated with relief ornament. The portrait exhibits the characteristic late Constantinian style with idealized, slightly elongated facial features. The circumferential Latin legend reads FL IVL CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG, divided on either side of the effigy, enclosed within a beaded border.
