Obverse description Bare-necked, laureate bust of Constantine I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair drawn back beneath a multi-strand laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the nape. The emperor's strong, idealised profile is shown with a slightly draped paludamentum at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads CONSTANTINVS P F AVG, enclosed within a beaded border that frames the entire obverse field.
