The emperor's strong profile features a prominent nose and firm jaw, conveying imperial authority. The paludamentum is fastened at the right shoulder with a brooch, and the cuirass is visible at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG runs around the field, broken across the upper left and right portions of the coin. |
