Reverse description A togate figure, personifying the emperor or a genius, stands facing left in the centre of the field, holding a mappa (orb) in the extended left hand and a short sceptre or baton in the right hand, the figure standing upon a low platform or base flanked by two small globes. The surrounding legend FELIX PROCESSVS COS III AVG N commemorates the consular procession of Constantine in his third consulship. The mint mark PTR appears in the exergue, denoting the Prima officina of the Treveri (Trier) mint. The field retains a slightly radiating ground and the whole is enclosed within a beaded border.
