| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the Trivulzio family arms, depicted as a pointed oval escutcheon charged with the characteristic Trivulzio emblem of vertical pales or bars, rendered in a bold hammered style. The shield is surrounded by a beaded inner circle, with the partial Latin legend reading [...] CISCVS . TRIVVLTI . disposed around the periphery, identifying Johann Franz Trivulzio as lord. The lettering is partially legible due to the irregular flan typical of hammered coinage of the period. |
