ARGENTINENSIS (New Money of Strasbourg) runs along the inner border, with a small cross serving as a stop at the top. The coin's edge is defined by a finely executed inner bead or denticulated border, consistent with the milled coinage of the Strasbourg mint under Louis XIV.
