A promise-to-pay text in Spanish script occupies the central field, above the bold letterpress denomination 'MEDIO SOL' flanking a red serial number at lower left. Signature lines for 'GERENTE' and 'CONTADOR' appear at the lower margin.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in green and black, enclosed within an elaborate guilloche rosette border. A large central vignette presents a finely engraved bull's head in three-quarter view against a lightly tinted background, framed by a rectangular panel. To the left, a tall tablet carries the inscription 'MEDIO SOL' in bold lettering, while the fractional numeral '1/2' appears in a matching tablet at right. The imprint of the National Bank Note Company, New York, is set in small type at the lower margin.
