Obverse description A high-relief grape harvest scene depicts a man in the foreground striding forward while carrying a large wicker basket (hotte) laden with grapes on his back. In the middle ground, a woman crouches to pick grapes, while a second woman to the right pours the harvest into a vessel beside a tree. The engraver's signature H. PEYROL appears in the upper left field.

Reverse description The reverse features a central circular medallion with a beaded border bearing the inscription in multiple lines. Radiating from the centre are eight raised bands forming a cross-like pattern that divides the field into six compartments, each decorated in relief with sprays of olive and laurel branches. Maker and publisher signatures appear along the lower radiating bands.
