Obverse description The Paschal lamb (Agnus Dei) is depicted passant to the left within a beaded inner circle intersected by arcs, its head turned back to the right and surrounded by a nimbus. A cross-tipped staff bearing a banner is positioned behind the lamb. The surrounding legend, rendered in Gothic uncial characters, runs between the inner beaded circle and the outer border.
