| Obverse description | The entire field is occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Jawi calligraphic script, identifying the ruling sultan Ala'uddin. The inscription is executed in relief against an unadorned, irregular field typical of hammered tin coinage from the Kedah Sultanate. The lettering is bold and cursive in style, occupying the full diameter of the flan. Small pellet or dot decorative elements appear in the margins of the field. The coin shows characteristic surface oxidation and residual silvering consistent with silver-plated tin fabric. |

| Reverse description | The reverse field is entirely filled with a multi-line Arabic pious legend in Jawi calligraphic script, rendered in bold relief across the full width of the irregular flan. The inscription, reading 'May Allah perpetuate his reign in the religion and his glory,' is characteristic of Malay sultanate coinage of the 17th century. A border of small pellets or dots encircles the legend, following the contour of the roughly circular planchet. The surface retains traces of original silver plating over the tin substrate, now partially obscured by patination and corrosion. The hammered technique results in an uneven flan edge and slightly asymmetric distribution of the legend. |
