Obverse description Stylised proto-boar depicted in left profile, rendered in the characteristic Celtic abstract idiom. Above the boar, a prominent solar symbol composed of a pellet-in-ring motif surrounded by a ring of pellets occupies the upper field, accompanied by a crescent or annulet device to the left. A wishbone or forked spear element appears in association with the boar, a defining feature of this type. The overall composition is characteristic of Corieltauvian die-cutting, with the design filling an irregularly flan in dynamic, curvilinear fashion. No inscription or legend is present.
