Obverse description A stylised boar facing right occupies the central field, rendered in the characteristically abstracted La Tène artistic idiom. A pellet rosette is positioned above the animal's back, serving as a decorative fill element typical of Corieltauvian coinage. A ringed pellet appears below the boar's body and a further ringed pellet is placed in the field before its snout. The composition is framed by flowing curvilinear elements at the periphery of the flan, emphasising the dynamic, organic aesthetic of Late Iron Age Celtic die-engraving.
