| Beschrijving keerzijde | Stylised horse or zoomorphic figure in motion occupying the central field, depicted in the highly abstracted Celtic tradition with disjointed limbs rendered as geometric forms. Above the horse's back, a row of pellets or annulets forms a decorative border along the upper field. A floral or rayed ornament, possibly a wheel or sun symbol with pellets, appears to the right of the animal. The composition is characteristic of late Iron Age Corieltauvian coinage, with the design broken into its constituent elements across the flan. The strike is bold but irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production on a small silver flan. |
