Reverse description Stylised Celtic horse prancing to right, depicted with a solid, compact head and a characteristic doubling of the upper foreleg lines, a hallmark of this Corieltauvian issue. The retrograde or ligate inscription VEPO appears above the horse in the field. A pellet-in-ring device occupies the space below the horse's body, while a group of three pellets is disposed beneath the tail. The overall composition reflects the highly abstracted La Tène artistic tradition typical of late pre-Roman Iron Age coinage from eastern Britain.
