Obverse description Bare laureate head of classical inspiration facing right, rendered in the Celtic artistic tradition with stylized linear detailing to the hair and facial features. The wreath is depicted with naturalistic leaf forms arranged around the crown. The portrait exhibits a confident, if slightly abstract, draughtsmanship characteristic of late Iron Age British coinage influenced by Gallo-Belgic prototypes. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the design well-centred within the available die area.
