Reverse description A mounted warrior advancing to the right, depicted in a stylized Celtic manner with an elaborate head-dress from which multiple streaming lines trail behind the figure. The horse is rendered in the abstract, energetic style typical of late Iron Age British coinage, with limbs and body reduced to dynamic linear forms. Scattered pellets or rings occasionally appear in the field around the horse and rider. The design is contained within a pellet border encircling the reverse field.
