Obverse description A stylised Celtic dragon depicted in profile facing right, rendered in the characteristic flowing curvilinear style of Late Iron Age Celtic art. The creature displays a single visible rear leg, its sinuous body arching across the field, with the head dramatically turned back upon itself. Flame or breath motifs emanate from the open mouth, and the overall composition fills the irregular flan with bold, deeply struck relief typical of Cantian silversmithing. No inscription or legend is present.
