Reverse description A triple-tailed horse progressing to the left, depicted in the highly stylised, disjointed manner characteristic of British Celtic coinage derived from Macedonian prototype staters. The horse's body is articulated with pellet-and-ring joints, and its three tails are rendered as a fan of diverging lines. Beneath the horse, a lyre symbol is prominently placed in the lower field, formed by a curved base element surmounted by paired vertical prongs, a distinctive subsidiary device of this Atrebatic series. Additional pellets and a crescent appear in the field to the left.
