| Obverse description | Stylised Celtic head facing right, rendered in the characteristically abstract Late Iron Age artistic idiom. The hair is depicted entirely by means of a profusion of twelve or more deeply cut crescent-shaped locks, arranged in flowing, overlapping rows that fill the field around the facial profile. The eye, brow, and jaw are summarily indicated, the face emerging organically from the surrounding mass of crescent motifs. The flan is irregular and the relief bold, consistent with the hand-struck technique of the period. |

| Reverse description | A triple-tailed horse progressing to the left, depicted in the highly stylised, disjointed manner characteristic of British Celtic coinage derived from Macedonian prototype staters. The horse's body is articulated with pellet-and-ring joints, and its three tails are rendered as a fan of diverging lines. Beneath the horse, a lyre symbol is prominently placed in the lower field, formed by a curved base element surmounted by paired vertical prongs, a distinctive subsidiary device of this Atrebatic series. Additional pellets and a crescent appear in the field to the left. |
