| Описание аверса | A stylised boar faces right, rendered in the characteristic Celtic abstract idiom, with a deep chest and broad snout. The dorsal bristles are depicted as straight, upright lines, and the tail is non-curling; the near foreleg and hindleg are solid, while the off-side legs are bifurcated. No spear is present in the shoulder. Above the boar, a double pellet within an annulet is set within a large ring of pellets; additional pellets-in-ring ornaments appear above and below the area in front of the animal, and a spiral motif occupies the field behind. |

The Corieltauvi occupied a territory roughly corresponding to the modern East Midlands, and their coinage developed largely in isolation from the more Romanized tribes of the southeast. The "Pin-Mane" designation refers to a specific stylistic treatment of the horse's mane rendered as discrete pin-like projections — a regional die convention that allows attribution even on heavily worn flans. The absence of a spear distinguishes this variety from related issues and places it within a tightly defined sub-series.
No mint site has been positively identified for Corieltauvi silver coinage; hoards from Lincolnshire and Leicestershire provide the primary distribution evidence.
