Obverse description Two opposed horses rendered in the abstract Celtic artistic style, their bodies curvilinear and highly stylised. A prominent double ring or annulet motif occupies the central field between the two horse figures. The overall composition is characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage, with fluid, zoomorphic forms arranged symmetrically around the central device. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of hand-struck Celtic silver units.

Reverse description A triple-tailed horse advancing to the left, rendered in the highly stylised curvilinear manner characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. Below and around the horse appear subsidiary decorative motifs including a stylised cock's head and pellet-in-ring ornaments, all executed in the abstract Celtic artistic tradition. The design fills the irregular flan with fluid, abstracted forms typical of Dobunnic silver units. No legend or inscription is present. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered Celtic coinage with natural flan irregularities.
