| Reverse description | A butting bull advances to the right in high relief, rendered in the vigorous, stylised manner typical of Cantian Celtic coinage of the late first century BC. A bird, likely a raven or wading bird, is depicted perched upon the bull's back, a motif with possible religious or totemic significance. Pellets and abstract linear ornaments are scattered throughout the field. Above the bull, a prominent annulet with a central pellet serves as a symbolic field decoration. The border is formed by a beaded or pellet ring following the irregular flan edge. |

Dubnovellaunos ruled the Cantii in what is now Kent during a period of intensifying Roman commercial and diplomatic pressure — Caesar's expeditions of 55 and 54 BC had already demonstrated Rome's reach, and by this point Augustan influence was reshaping southern British tribal politics without outright conquest. His name appears on coins of both the Cantii and, later, the Trinovantes, suggesting either expansion of authority or forced displacement; the historical record doesn't settle the question cleanly. ABC 327 is among the lighter fractional silver issues attributable to his reign.
