Above the horse, scattered pellets and a ring ornament decorate the field, while additional decorative devices appear to the right of the animal. Below the horse, the abbreviated royal inscription appears in the exergue. The composition reflects the standard reverse type of Cunobelin's silver unit coinage, combining the equine motif with royal titulature in a characteristically compact Iron Age design. |
